Our RIVER WATCH DISCOVERY PROGRAM at the Greenwich Library Tuesday, February 25, 2014
Board Member Dan Albano with helpers.
Kelly Nolan of Watershed Assessment Associates (WAA) will share his experiences on what entails a successful River Watch Program, what role of the community plays in that success and how educators, community groups (both adults and youth) can take an active role in helping ensure the health of our watershed. The program will highlight various volunteer programs throughout the state, prior programs that have taken place in our community and how you and your family can take an active part in our 2014 River Watch Discovery Program.
The program will also provide an overview of the testing that WAA did on the Battenkill during 2013 and the initial results of that testing.
